Teachers unwind  in Yercaud

Who doesn’t love picnics? Young and old not only
love it but also go armed with cameras and cellphones to capture those precious moments. Our teachers too were eagerly awaiting it. To unwind and to rejuvenate themselves, the teachers took off early in the morning on 1 Sept 2023   to the winding roads of the hill to reach Yercaud. The surprisingly pleasant climate and exciting hikes to the tip of the rocks made the picnic truly memorable. 

Apart from visiting the usual tourist attractions in the hills like the Boat Ride, Botanical Garden and  Shervarayan Hills they visited the offbeat places like the Trignometry point to have a fantastic view of Salem city. They had to maneuver a precarious footpath for about a kilometer to arrive at Trignometry point. The birds in the PEEKU birds park stole the show with their friendly approach. The adorable birds sat on the visitors as they fed them with the seeds. Amidst their packed schedule the
teachers managed to find some time for Campfire too. On 2 Sept 2023 the teachers returned tired from Yercaud, but filled with several happy memories and enriching experiences.
