Introduction

The Investiture ceremony of FSSE was held on July 18, 2024, with great enthusiasm and dignity in the school premises. The ceremony was presided over by the Correspondent Rev. Fr. Thomas Louis, Director Rev. Fr. Augustin, Administrator Rev. Fr. Daniel, and Principal Miss Sharny Clamenshiya, along with our chief guest Rev. Fr. Felix Samuvel, parish priest of Alangara Annai Church, Varadarajanpet.

Opening

The ceremony commenced with a prayer song by our school choir. Mrs. Daisy then addressed the gathering, setting the tone for the event.

March Past

This was followed by a march past by all four houses – Justice House, Liberty House, Equality House, and Fraternity House, with their captains and vice-captains leading the way.

Badge Conferring

The elected leaders were conferred with badges by the honorable chief guest, Rev. Fr. Felix Samuvel. The leaders of clubs and movements were also honored by the correspondent and director of our school.

Oath Taking

Our School Pupil Leader (SPL), Miss Nelcy Medonna, took the oath along with the newly elected leaders, pledging to uphold their responsibilities with integrity.

Speeches and Advice

Rev. Fr. Felix Samuvel congratulated the members of the Student Council and advised them to be impartial and honest in discharging their duties. Our correspondent, Rev. Fr. Thomas Louis, advised them to be role models and work for the benefit of the students, emphasizing the proverb, “United we stand, divided we fall.”

Conclusion

Miss Lilly delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the event. The ceremony concluded with the National Anthem.
